Chryssa I. Zizos, Founder and President of Live Wire Media Relations, LLC

Zizos1As founder and President of Live Wire Media Relations, LLC, Chryssa is responsible for strategic development, supervision and evaluation of multi-faceted public relations campaigns for various client industries.

As a public relations consultant, Chryssa has designed five national award-winning campaigns in the last five years. In working with her clients, Chryssa has succeeded in managing and implementing the following strategies and tactics to obtain positive publicity for her clients:

  • Managed and oversaw strategic development and implementation of targeted media relations programs on national, regional and local levels;
  • Media events including press conferences, media tours, speakers forums, editorial board briefings and press briefings;
  • Organized and disclosed clients' messages to the public by way of Op-eds, letters to the editor, feature articles, public service advertisements, and direct press contact;
  • Coordinated messages of individual organizations in order to implement cohesive consumer, business to business and government relations' campaigns.

IZizos2n meeting her clients' objectives, she has earned numerous national and local print and broadcast media hits. She has booked hundreds of interviews for her clients with network and affiliate TV stations, national and local cable programming, national consumer, business and trade magazines, national and local newspapers and radio stations.

Prior to founding Live Wire, Chryssa worked at Kershner & Company Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Ketchum Public Relations and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide where she was responsible for the design, execution and evaluation of a multitude of national and local public relations campaigns.

As an experienced print journalist and former editor-in-chief of the Computing Times, Chryssa has an eye for what is truly newsworthy and can originate news concepts that often receive the media attention they deserve. 1n 1993, she served a Congressional Appointment in Seoul, South Korea and worked as an editor in the Bureau of International Relations for the National Assembly.

Chryssa earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern Kentucky University in journalism and business communications management and a Master's Degree in public communication from American University in Washington, D.C. She also served as a Congressional Page in the U.S. House of Representatives.
