Jennifer Fairchild joined EKU in August 2007. She is a lecturer in the CMS department. Jennifer earned her B.A. in English from Georgetown College in 1997. She earned her M.A. in Communication from UK in 1998. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Communication from UK.

Jennifer is married to Scott, and they have a son, Thomas Chandler Fairchild. In her spare time (when she is not grading papers or attending graduate classes at UK) she enjoys spending time with her family. Jennifer's research interests are in interpersonal communication.
