Emerson St. John received his undergraduate degree in Video & Film Production from EKU, and his Business Administration certification from the United States Army Training Center in Ft. Jackson, S.C.  He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University.

As a member of the Department of Communication, he is the Technical Supervisor & Videographer.  He oversees video productions for the department, and supervises the desktop publishing and writing labs.  He is the teaching assistant for Film History and Film Genre courses, and is the Co-Advisor for the EKU Film Club.

Prior to joining EKU, he was an Administrative Specialist in the Army, worked in television, film, theatre, and radio.  He is the President of Java Cat Films, LLC and is on the Board of Directors for Project Read in Madison County.
