Minor in Advertising

Courses required for a minor in advertising are COM 325, 425, 471; JOU or PUB 320, MKT 301, 320, and COM 490 or MKT 426. Three hours of COM/MKT courses taken to fulfill requirements for another major may be counted toward the advertising minor.
Minor in Broadcast News
Requirements ................................................................22 hours
Courses required for a minor in broadcast news are BEM 240, 295 (4), 401; COM 405 and six hours from BEM 300, 301, 343, 395 (4), 398, 402; COM 415, 430. Courses counted toward the major may not be counted toward the minor in broadcast news. Substitute courses will be selected by the student and the departmental advisor.
